Can’t Stop the Serenity is a unique opportunity to indulge your geeky side while doing some good.
2016 will be Platteville's third year participating in this global event. There will be a screening of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and, of course, Serenity. We are pretty sure that we were the smallest venue in the world participating. Let's show them how generous and geeky we can be!
The event will kick off at 2:00pm on October 2nd at the Avalon Theater in downtown Platteville. The doors open at 1:30pm.
Tickets will be $10 in advance or $15 at the door. There will be a special pricing for students of $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Advanced tickets will close 48 hours before the show.
Proceeds will go 75% to Equality Now and 25% to Family Connections of Southwest Wisconsin. Equality Now works for the protection and promotion of the human rights of women and girls around the world. Family Connections is a trusted resource that helps to prepare, educate, and support families, childcare providers, and the public.
